Dr. John very much enjoyed beer and sausages! Here he is with three of his closest friends Stefan J. Koch, Dr. Arvid Underman and Dr. Peter Heseltine. This group met at pubs every Thursday night for over 20 years to enjoy a good beer and talk science, politics, medicine and sports.
